Small Animal Services

We are dedicated to treating your pet as if it were one of our own. We ensure that our wide range of services provide your pet with the highest quality care available. Small animals that we see include dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small animals (i.e., guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, rats & mice).

A wellness exam or overall health assessment is a complete physical examination and at times diagnostic testing, and should be repeated based on the age and health of your pet. It is important for senior pets or pets with chronic health issues to be seen as directed by the veterinarian. The importance of a wellness exam for adolescent and adult pets should also be emphasized. When a seemingly healthy pet is seen on an annual basis, you are far more likely to detect and prevent the onset of more serious illnesses often associated with old age.

At West Dakota Vet Clinic, our veterinarians vaccinate based on the most progressive core vaccination protocols and research. Lifestyle vaccinations are recommended and provided on a case-by-case basis.
